Genuine Panama hats are handmade in Ecuador by skilled craftsmen. Panama hat weaving is a cottage industry carried out in the simple homes of ordinary country fold i the districts of Manabi and Azuay in Ecuador. It is a unique skill handed down from generation to generation.
Soft as silk
Fibres are split, then plaited into fabric so soft and dense taht is equals silk, finally producing a hat that epitomised pure luxury.
